Instant meal with spice packet. This is best used as a cleanse to eat for several meals. Make sure to read the directions, kitchari is best soaked prior to cooking.
Kitchari is an Ayurveda staple healing dish. Kitchari pacifies all three doshas so it can be recommended for everyone. Kitchari is very detoxifying. It helps bring toxicity "ama," which is undigested food to the center of the gut to be eliminated. Kitchari is beneficial for gut health, some consume it as a meal once a week and during the change of seasons to maintain balance. Kitchari is an ideal option for doing a 3 day cleanse while still keeping yourself full and nourished. Better alternative to fasting especially for Vata types.
